On May 14, a young girl and her family were on the rode for a family trip. They were going to spend their winter break in Chicago because they wanted to be in the snow and closer with some family over there. On the way over there, there was a horrible car accident. A truck ran over their car and completely threw the family off the rode. The driver of the truck seemed to be under the influence of alcohol. Since they were in the middle of no where, it took a while for help to get to the scene. Unfortunately, her parents did not make it and passed away quickly about 30 mins into the car accident. Only the young girl and her 6 year old brother survived. The kids were giving to their mothers sisters since that was the only other family they had.
