I didn't expect to like my classes in high school, since all I ever saw online and in real life was people complaining about how hard and boring their classes were. But I actually enjoy the curriculum provided by our school. My first period is Biology with Ms Santiago, and I really like her class because she's straightforward, and teaches me the process behind basic human things, such as mitosis and organisms. My second period is AP Human Geography with Mr Kinman, and I like this class because it challenges my thinking skills and gets me to think more about the world structured around us. My third period is Geometry with Ms Rodas, and I like this class because I get the material easily and my teacher explains it in a way I can understand. For period four, I have English 1Honors with Ms Ruiz, and I like this class because I get to write creatively during journal prompts and my teacher is super nice and understanding, and often gets us into discussions based on our opinions. For period five I have History of Film with Ms Gonzalez, and I like this class because we watch movies and have interesting curriculum on different eras in time. For period six I have Religion with Mr Strickland, and I like this class because I have a friend in that class that I talk to a lot, and Mr Strickland is super funny and has easy assignments. Lastly, I have Computer Science with Mr Galarza, and I like this class because its easy and also teaches us important skills we can use in the future like finances and career researching.
