The airport seemed like the most cliche place to begin the story, but here was Allyn, she stood outside of the airport, far too late at night. She was waiting for the car that her father promised to send, but it seemed like he had forgotten.

She was cold and tired - and she had called her mom when she had landed. But it seemed, considering that she had been waiting for well over an hour, something else was Important.

Allyn couldn't even call herself a cab or get some other car - she only had a little bit of money and the fare she would need to pay was a good few time what she had.

So, in short, she was stuck.

It was half an hour before the car arrived, calling out her name multiple times and annoying various other passengers waiting outside. Embarrassed, Allyn made her way to the car, climbing into the back seat and the driver set off.

Seattle was the very last place she wanted to be. She would rather go absolutely anywhere else in the world than be there. But that didn't matter to her parents - and whilst her grandparents would be happily have kept her in New York - they dragged her back to Seattle.

She had managed to not think too much about her situation on the days leading up to her leaving New York, on the plane or even whilst she was waiting outside of the airport. But now she was on her way back home - it seemed to all come rushing back to her.

All those suppressed thoughts pushed their way through, and Allyn felt herself getting somewhat emotional. What if it was just as bad as they had left it? Her home life wasn't good but having no friends to return to and with no chance of them actually becoming her friends again just seemed so awful.

The whole situation was awful. What had caused it, how they had ended up - everything was terrible and surreal in the worst way possible. For Allyn, and she was sure that the others involved felt the same, it was a nightmare that you just didn't wake up.

Finally, the car pulled up outside of the house, the familiar exterior causing butterflies to appear in her stomach. Home was as inappropriate word for the building - she considered Seattle her home, however the place where she was raised was not a place of happy memories. But it was the only place she could stay.

And so, after thanking the driver, taking her cases out of the trunk of the car, Allyn made her way to the front door, hesitating before knocking.

Neither of her parents answered, instead their housekeeper - a lady named Sally. She greeted her warmly, promising there to be food on the table within the hour.

It was far warmer welcome than what she could've got with her parents, and Allyn actually found herself smiling as they brought her bags inside. "Now your father is currently at work, and your mother is away on a visit to an old family friend - however, they have left a message for you." sally said, picking up two of Allyn's bags and beginning to take them up to her room.

"They're not here?" Allyn asked, a prominent from appearing on her face. "They forced me back here and can't even be bothered to greet me."

"don't worry yourself about it - the letter your father left is on your desk, and I made sure to iron your uniform ready for Monday." sally continued, pushing the door to her room open. "Now, I did get you some new bedsheets and a few other things - you might only be a year older, but you've grown up." she placed the bags on the ground. "Dinner should be ready in half an hour, if you want to freshen up."

"Did you say uniform?" Allyn asked, her attention having been on all around her room. "And Monday? I'm going back to school on Monday?"

"did your parents not tell you?" Sally looked shocked. "They informed me a month ago that when you returned you were to go to school the very next Monday instead of waiting a week."

"I see, thank you so much." Allyn smiled, Sally beaming back at her before leaving the room, gently closing the door behind her. Setting the bags down in her hand, the girl sat down on the edge of her bed, hugging one of her cushions.

"They didnt even tell me they wanted to bring me back until two weeks ago....and now they're putting me in a new school." Allyn sighed. "why did they even bring me back if they're not going to be around."

After taking a moment to herself, Ally rose from her bed, doing as Sally suggested and freshen up, changing her cloths and washing her face, managing to unpack a few things before heading downstairs for her meal.

She ate quickly, suddenly feeling extremely tired. The time difference was slowly speeding up to get her, and so, without another thought, Allyn fell asleep as soon as she had gotten back upstairs.

And when Sally came to check on her, it was clear she was exhausted. After tucking her into the sheets, she left her alone for the night - from what she had seen Allyn seemed like her old self, but there had been moments when it peeked through, how she had been before she left for New York.

It seemed to be only Sally that feared that returning to Seattle had been too soon for Allyn. Returning to the place where everything had gone so wrong was never good - but it had only been just under a year. And if Sally were to disagree with her employees on how they handle things, it was how they treated their daughter.

But all she could do was watch on and hope that Allyn would be okay.

---------------------------

Allyn slept through the majority of the weekend, and still felt incredibly tired when her alarm woke her on Monday morning. It was a pity - she was waking from her only good couple of hours of sleep all weekend

Being in Seattle had seemed to impact her in more ways than just whilst awake. Even her sleep had been impacted by it, and despite the jet lag getting the best of her at times, it was never for more than a couple of hours at time.

A few minutes after the alarm rang the girl finally dragged herself out of bed, changing into her uniform that sally had hung from the doors of her wardrobe. The room felt almost like it used to, but it had the strange feeling like a hotel room - like it was hers but not entirely.

Ally was getting used to being back at Seattle, and she was sure that she wouldnt really feel like she used to for a long while. But the best she could do was deal with it. And so, after doing her skincare and applying the slightest bit of makeup, she headed downstairs, ready to talk to Sally about her usual questions whilst eating breakfast and then leaving.

Ally round the corner, all the smiles to greet her housekeeper good morning. But the smile faded, as she saw that she wouldn't be eating alone that morning.

Allyn's father, a man named Adam, was currently sat at the table, a variety of dishes set out in front of her. "Allyn, how lovely to see you. Unfortunately, i do have to leave soon, but please, have a seat." He said, glancing up from his phone for just a moment.

"Good morning." Allyn said, rather shortly as she slipped into her seat opposite of her father. Sally quickly served a bowl of rice, gesturing to the endless variety of side dishes around her. "I'm not very hungry anymore." Allyn shook her head beginning to eat some of the rice.

"Allyn, I made time in my busy schedule so that we could sit down and have breakfast before your first day of school. At least show some respect and have some of the side dishes." Adam said looking sternly across her daughter.

"I never asked you to do that. I would have happily eaten alone. I haven't seen you or mom since i arrived on Friday and you're the people who wanted me to come back here." Allyn replied, Adam clearly disapproving of her outburst.

"neither me nor your mother considered our schedules for your return. Its for your own good, now, eat up." he said, before his phone began to ring. " I need to answer this. I expect to see food gone when i return."

The man stalked off, leaving Allyn at the table. She instantly got up, picking up her bag and heading towards the door, only stopping because Sally suddenly appeared.

"Sorry i couldnt warn you, he arrived late last night and i only found out htis morning. Are you sure you wont eat anything - you barely ate anything this weekend." Sally asked, before holding out a box. " I packed you a few snacks - I expect it to be eaten."

"Thank you..." Allyn smiled. "But i need to leave before he comes back. I just don't really want to see him." she trailed off, hoping sally understood.

Of course the housekeeper did, and she walked alng with Allyn until she had left the gates, wishing her good luck for her first day. Allyn had refused to let her father send the car with her in to school and back, and so she was taking the bus.

She was the slightest bit early, but when she got on, scanning the card that had been prepared for her parent's seemingly weeks in advance, she realized how full it was.

After looking around a little bit, she noticed a seat nearish the back, and with no other chooses, she went to sit in it, ignoring the words from the boys who sat behind her on her looks, knowing they would do the exact same thing to every other girl who was remotely pretty.

The drive her bus top to school wasnt to long, and soon enough Allyn was getting off of the bus and makingher way up the long path to school, amongst other students wearing the same uniform. It almost felt normal - is she could ignore all the whispers of the other students.

She was the final part of the reaming three, and Allyn didn't been know why she hadn't considered the outcome of her returning to school would be this. She continued walking, accidently brushing past a few people, now in a hurry to get to the office so that she could get the things she needed to and then get to class, where people would stare but it wouldn't be as much.

But then she heard a motorcycle. And her heart dropped.

It was just being paranoid - anyone could ride a motorcycle, tons of people her age had them. And so, trying to ease the strange feeling she had in her stomach, but the motorcycle moved past her and came to a stop just in front of her, the rider pulling off his helmet and stopping in her tracks.

Allyn felt sick. She wanted to avoid him as long as she could, but it seemed like nothing was on her side. But then it got worse.

Because walking passes her was Noah Kingston, who clearly hasn't seen her yet, and he was about to walk past James Ainsworth. "Oh gosh." she breathed out, clutching the straps on her bag and wondering what she could do.

She couldn't just turn around and go home - she had to go into school. But it seemed that her entrances were blocked, James and Noah having their strange staring contest thing.

Allyn stepped forward swaying slightly on her feet, her eyes locked on the two boys. But then it got even worse, as they both looked towards her and froze.

The cold look on each of their faces grew even colder, and Allyn had never felt so uncomfortable. But whilst they were frozen, she seemed to have forgotten her ability to walk back and so she stepped forward, pushing past them and into the building.

Leaving multiple onlookers feeling just as uncomfortable and shocked.
