An activity that gives me the most joy and makes me feel alive is volleyball. Volleyball gives me the most joy because I enjoy playing it and feel relaxed while I play. It doesn't have to be competitive volleyball or a game, I just enjoy playing. I enjoy passing the ball around and hitting the ball whether with friends or in a match. I haven't been playing volleyball for long as I barely started around two years ago, but playing gives me a sense of freedom. I had never imagined myself playing volleyball. I hadn't really thought of the sport until my cousin and one of my friends told me about it. I was hesitant at first not knowing if I would like playing the sport, denying any of their requests to sign me up at a park they were playing at. Eventually I gave in and allowed them to sign me up. All it took was one practice session for me to fall in love with the game, although I was still skeptical about if I would continue playing in the long run. I continued to go to the practices and fell more and more in love with the game.It also provided me with a way to exercise and take care of my body. There were alot of ups and downs in my first few practices and there still are and will continue to be. At first practices were hard with me not knowing anyone except for my cousin and not really knowing much about volleyball. Although there were some things that the coaches said I was good at such as my passing and serving. My coaches told me that I had more control than most players when they begin, and my serves were going over, so it was a start. Eventually I was ending my first season with the team that I was in winning the league, but there were still things that I needed to work on. The next season I rejoined, choosing to stay in the same league I was in before while others moved up.
