Terrified, the man ran through the halls, trying to find an escape. But the manor seemed to shift and change around him, trapping him in a never-ending maze of corridors and rooms. The spirits of the past tormented him, their ghostly forms appearing and disappearing in the blink of an eye. He did not know what to do and he was very frightened. He was wondering to himself, what could this be? But he had no idea. He wondered if this would be the last of him.

And then, just when he thought all his hope was lost, he stumbled upon a hidden chamber deep inside the manor. In the center of the room, a flickering candle brightened a circle of strange symbols close up into the floor. The air grew strong with power, and the spirits screamed in unhappiness as he approached.
