The other day I remember hearing something about a girl who got accepted into 15 colleges so I've decided to do more research and write about that. This girls name is Brandy Figueroa  and she is only 17 years old. She applied to 20 colleges and ot accepted into 15 including schools like Harvard Colombia and Stanford. Because of this great accomplishment this girl has been brought up in class, on radio stations, and even on the news. Brandy is said to be involved in many groups and organizations including Latino leadership groups to environmental groups. Brandy is also said to have a 4.74 g.p.a. Brandy said that she didn't think she was going to get accepted because she had been wait-listed for many of the schools she had applied to. Brandy's story encourages me to work hard and never give up. I hope to one day be as successful as this amazingly smart and hardworking young girl.
