Occasionally I experience what is known as writer's block, when I lose inspiration to write. I experienced this most recently just a week ago, when writing the third chapter of my WIP book. I didn't have any motivation to write for two whole days, and nothing was coming to mind. What finally helped me snap out of it was writing out a storyboard, talking to my niece about my book, and listening to the playlist I created for the book. While there are many ways for writers to get out of their blocks, I personally like to either listen to music or talk to someone about it. Music helps me imagine what scenes I can write out, and also really helps me interpret my characters differently. Talking to people helps give me motivation to write, maybe out of embarrassment or a sudden rush of inspiration from their opinions. I especially like to write when my siblings or friend want to see what I've written, since it makes me feel as if I have to write now that they are asking.
