In a recent article about UCLA protestors it outlines the fight for new pro-Palestinian encampments. There is a new encampment for Palestinians on the ucla Campus which led to ucla getting attacked and needing it to get dismantled by police. UCLA members are in fear and security is needed in this moment to protect the students as well as the school. Budings needed to be closed off by ffcicilas because of the encampments. Classes in the morning in those buildings were forced to switch to remote learning. The article prvided a quote supporting the safet measures ucla is ensuring. According to the article it states,  “We’re aware of demonstration activity on the Kerckhoff patio. Our safety personnel are on site and actively monitoring the situation”. This movement is jeopardizing the safety of the students, Jewish students are feeling intimidated due to vandalism sayings. In conclusion ucla is a very activists school that gains the recognition for being out in difficult decision as well as standing up for what is right.
