International students are students who chose to undertake all or part of their tertiary education in a country other than their own and move to that country for the purpose of studying. In 2016, there were nearly 5.1 million internationally mobile students, up from 2.1 million in 2000. Studying abroad in an American university will allow for invaluable academic, professional and personal growth, and open up an infinite number of career opportunities after graduation.
