the main character who is zim is an irken invader who messed up in his job to his leaders just hate him so they sent him to earth an unknown planet for them to invade. zim took the bait because he is full of himself, so he goes to earth with his companion gir and he tries to act like a normal kid (even though he has green skin) but nobody minds exept dib his enemy. dib is a human who is into the paranormal stuff like zim so dib sees through his disgiuse and tries to expose him to the world
