What is going on currently: 

According to John Hopkins University, more than 113,000 cases have been confirmed and almost 4,000 have died (3%) and 62,000 have recovered. Schools, events and more places have been evacuated and quarintined. The St. Patrick's Day parade has been cancelled in Ireland and Italy has seen the largest outbreak in all of Europe. Overpopulated cities have been affected most due to many people possibly having the virus.

Why is this important?: This is important because this virus has affected many countries and has the same effects as the flu, but there is no cure.
