What do you think when you hear the word anime is it big eyes, extra fights scenes, or is it colorful gravity defining hair. Today we will focus of anime's wild hair. Now anime hair has two main features color and styles, but for today we will focus on the meaning of animes bold color. Now brown and black hair this color is used for background characters cause brown and black are Japan's most common hair colors, but some protagonists have brown or black hair like Kurome(Akame ga kill), Rukai Kuchiki(Bleach), Toru Oikawa(Haikyuu!!)Light Yagami(Death Note), Eren Yeager(Attack on Titan). Red hair could mean a character has a hot temper or are always ready for a fight like Ezra Scarlet(Fairy Tale), Gaara(Naruto), Karama Akabane(Assassination Classroom), and Hisoka(Hunter XHunter). Charaters with orange hair are similar it red hair but less intestine, for example, Ichigo Kurosaki(Bleach), Asuna(Sword Art Online), Nami(One Piece), King(7 deadly sins). Blond hair doesn't have a meaning that I could find but here it is, Naruto Uzumaki(Naruto), Sanji(One Piece), Edward Elric(Full Metal Alchemist), Lucy Heartfilia(Fairy Tail). Green hair has a meaning with a charaters that they have a deep connection with nature, Gon(HunterxHunter), C.C(Code Geass), Izuku Midoriya(BNHA). Blue hair has the meaning of being clam and level-headed charaters, Rin Okumura(Blue Exorcist), Rem(Re: Zero), Wendy Marvell(Fairy Tale). Purple, in general, has a meaning of Royalty but most of these charaters are not royalty that I know of like Rize Kamishiro(Tokyo Ghoul), Yato(Noragmi), Kyoko Kirigiri(Danganronpa v1), Crona(Soul Eater). Pink hair also has no meaning, but if I had to take a guess it could mean high-energy or a sweet/kind character, Natsu Dragneel(Fairy Tale), Yuno Gasai(Future Diary), Zero-two ( Darling in the Franxx), Saiki Kusuo(The disastrous like of Saiki Kusuo). Finally, White hair has a supernatural element to it like Mirajane(Fairy Tale), Inuyasha(Inuyasha), Kaneki Ken(Tokyo Ghoul), Killua Zoldyck(HunterxHunter).
