Who is involved (individuals, groups, things):  LA County residents. This is really affecting the whole world though. This is affecting every person, man, woman, child (everybody) all around the world.

Where in the world (county, city, state, mention all that apply): LA County, San Bernardino County 

What is going on( in 4 complete sentences): The corona virus is affecting almost everybody. Since there are to much patients in the hospitals and they are filling up they are opening new places for people infected with COVID-19. They are opening brand new ones. The Convention Center is one that will also be used to care for the sick. They are filling it up with hospital beds to care for the sick people infected with COVID-19. They are also having emergency shelters to shelter the homeless so they don't get the virus.      

Why is this event issue newsworthy(why would people care about this): This event issue is newsworthy because it is world wide and it is affecting everyone.  People are dying from this virus because it is so powerful and there is no cure. There are many people dying because of this virus and many dont take it serious. That is why this is important to put this in the news to make people be more precautious.
