On Monday, April 6, 2020, at 4:31 pm divers found the body of  Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean. Her body was found at the Chesapeake Bay. She and her son went missing on Thursday, April 2, 2020, in the evening. They were playing kickball, the ball landed in the water and they got in the canoe to get it. Unfortunately, they got pushed away by the wind or the tide. 

She was the granddaughter of former US Attorney General and US Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
