July 25, 2000 Air France flight 4590 is taking off from Charles De Gaulle Airport also known as JFK Airport, Flight 4590 is on the runway ready to take off when the tower say's "Clear to take off Air France flight 4590" pilot Christian Marty put's the Concorde on full throttle but a problem is about to happen, one that will ruin the Concorde's reputation, as soon as Flight 4590 hits 180 knot's a piece of metal hits one of the Concorde's tires and pops with a loud bang a piece from the tire hits the wing then the worst happen's the fuel tank starts to leak, it has a crack caused by the piece of rubber hitting the wing, then the jet fuel ignites causing fires to burst out from the wing, question is how did the jet fuel ignite? One small piece of the rubber cut's one of the cable lines which is where electric wires run through to control the landing gear, now the Concorde's landing gear can't retract, the sparks emitted from the wire's ignites the fuel, then Concorde's wing bursts into flames, the Concorde is boomed. By the time the pilots realize their situation the Concorde is at the "no turning back point" which is located at the end of the runway. You might ask "Why didn't the pilots just gain altitude to turn around?" well... They couldn't the Concorde couldn't gain altitude because the wing structure was damaged not allowing the pilots to go up and not allowing the wing to gain lift. As soon as the pilots realize that the plane couldn't go up its too late. They crashed into a hotel killing everyone on board the aircraft and killing 4 people who were inside the hotel. One survivor of the hotel said "When the Concorde crashed it looked like a fire ball."
this is a true story
