LA’s Health Department Will Publish List of Restaurants With Confirmed COVID-19 Cases

Los Angeles County officials announced that restaurants with confirmed cases of COVID-19 will be posted on the Los Angeles County of Department of Public Health website. A number of county restaurants had employees test positive for the coronavirus. County director Dr. Barbara Ferrer said this restaurant list will be available later this week of April 20th.  This is happening in the State of California for the county of Los Angeles to let the public know which restaurants had an employee with the virus.  It is up to the public if they feel safe to order food from that restaurant. Some restaurants are open now after an employee has tested positive for the Coronavirus but has fully recovered. It is unknown how safe it is to order food from places like this and it just depends on the customer what is their choice.  It is not illegal to reopen the restaurant after an infected, fully recovered employee but we have the right to know this information to prevent the spead of this virus.  If you really want to be safe and protect yourself, cook your own food at home.  Remember, we need to clean and wash our groceries also to prevent the spread of the virus at home too.
