Once Sakura and Eric were gone, Emily saw Arely lay down on the bed. "Wow. That was awesome! I mean, DO you know what this means?" Arely sighed, untying her ponytail."Yep. It means we have OFFICIALLY gone insane. And FWI, we are NOT telling ANYONE OR I WILL MAKE SURE TO NEVER TALK TO YOU AGAIN......." And on and on and on and on she went with her not so convincing rant of threats. She simply blocked her voice out. She was thinking if this might be a bad idea. Not the moving in, the renovation. If Arely's mom dug too far into the mansion, she might, MIGHT find the ghosts hideout, and she would tear their home, their Sanctuary! It was of major importance to her, although she had only known the ghosts for a day. She had compassion for them, and they were now her friends, and she didn't want any harm to come to them. She sighed, looked out the window, only to come back to face a boy who was so close to her face that she jumped a little ways back. "EEP!" she squeaked and hit the boy in the face. She then realized the boy was Tomas, and she had thoroughly hurt him and slightly offended him. "Jeez what was that for?!" He muttered and turned to Emily. "I was going to ask if you wanted to see something. I owe you, remember?" Arely was now interested, and she was always excited to see a new place.  interest was at an all-time high. "ooh, can I go too?" "No! I'm only allowed to take one person! Well, unless, someone else were to bring you. I guess." Tomas said, grimacing. "Then I'll take her! Someone's gotta make sure you don't fall in!" Said someone, and YTomas groaned and sighed. "Fine. Just an FWI, it's not my fault if Arely falls in and almost dies. okay?". And then he looked at Emily. "Ready?" he said, and with a nod, they were off. Arely looked around, expecting to see Sakura popping out of a wall or something, but then saw a girl she immediately recognized as Sally. "Hi! I wanted to get to know you since Sakura finds you so interesting." Then Sally's gaze wandered to Arely's Nintendo. "Hey! What's that?" She asked, just before an alarm went off. "Oh jeez, the dum-dums. Sally grumbled as they poofed away. The next thing Arely saw was a portal, and Tomas and Emily looking horrified. "This........is the world of nightmares. A horrible place where you see all your nightmares come true. And they.." Sally said, gesturing to Emily and Tomas, " are seeing their nightmares come true." She sighed, and walked in and shoved Tomas. He stumbled back, shocked out of that state of nightmares. He then creepily turned his head and made a grab for her, which she dodged. Sally ran out and panted with fear. "Do they NORMALLY do that?" Arely asked, then peered closely into the eyes of her cousin, of which were now looking at them. Just as Sally was about to snap: NO!, Arely yelped, "Look at their necks!  They're choking in nightmares!". Then she dove into the portal and grabbed the chain of darkness choking Emily. Her hands, oddly enough, went straight through. She jumped back to look. She suddenly realized her necklace was glowing. She gently touched it, and her hands lit up. She could feel the souls of her family, the presence of them here. Her father, who had died when she was young. She could feel her father's breath tingling in her ear whisper, "Touch the chain. Trust me." And disappear. She reached out and tried to touch Emily's chain, but she hissed and screamed and kicked, but Arely touched it and saw it disappear. Emily started coughing and harshly breathing.  Arely turned to Tomas and touched his chain. He gasped and coughed, making Arely happy to know he saved their lives. The glow disappeared, leaving the darkness to coil itself back into the depths of nightmares. Emily and Tonas seemed to be better, and all three of them hurried out.
