I was expecting something like a tree branch or a rock rolling downhill, but none of those sounded right. I looked behind me to see a bunch of collapsed rocks on the ground. I was relieved because I thought it was some sort of monster or something bad. I continued walking until heard clinking and scraping sounds. When I turned around I saw the same little rocks, but the rocks were bunched together to make a stubby, little creature. I was a bit startled to see him because I didn’t think there were living creatures in this place. I didn’t know what the creature wanted, so I took out my little wooden weapon to fend for myself. The creature got scared and turned into the little rocks again. I put down my weapon and The little rock fella reconstructed its self. It looked pretty hungry and tired. I wanted to help out, so I went to the nearest tree and picked some berries for the creature. The creature looked at me and tried jumping for the berries. I gave the creature the berries and he gobbed the berries like he hasn’t eaten in days! I started to walk to find a cave to sleep in, but the creature kept following me. I was not really concentrating on the creature until it pulled my leg like it was trying to tell me something. I looked behind and it offered me a rock with its name on it. I was guessing it wanted to be friends with me. I went to the nearest tree and wrote my name on it. It looked up and saw my name. I started to call the creature by its name, Rocky.
