Sally was fighting with Arely's things when they heard something. A whistle. Getting louder. "Wha-" Arely almost asked, meaning to say "What's that sound?" Although she couldn't say it before something burst into the room. "WHAT!?" All of them asked this time, no interruption. The group was right to be shocked, for what they saw looked half mummy, half-human, there were faint indications of mold on their skins, but they looked human. Tomas and Eric were in on the action one second in. They grabbed random things and barred them like weapons. A second later, Arely and Sakura were in too. Sakura and Eric stopped short. Sakura's kind, stubborn-headed demeanor left her, replaced by shock. Eric's mischievous eyes were gone as well, and it was replaced my fear. Like Arely's family, Eric had always had an insight and could understand things that were hard to understand. Other than math. Arely looked and saw what they looked scared about. Them.Their bodies. dead, pale, but there was no mistaking it. These were the bodies of her dead friends. Arely let out a yelp. Tomas let loose with his "weapon" WHich was a wooden stick she used for her window. Before he took a swing, he stopped and made the same face as Sakura and Eric.  Ugh, Arely thought, Now you've seen your dead body. Disgusting. Arely remembered something she had read: "In a temperate climate, it usually requires three weeks to several years for a body to completely decompose into a skeleton, depending on factors such as temperature, humidity, presence of insects, and submergence in a substrate such as water," Arely noticed Sally was fine, not in a trance. Her body must have already decomposed. Arely thought, remembering Sakura's comment that Sally was the oldest ghost in the place. Arely snatched Tomas's weapon and swung, not caring if she was hitting her dead friends' body or not. They crumbled like ash, which Arely also found disgusting. She found the whole situation disgusting. SHe didn't like dead bodies in general, and them falling and turning into ash at her feet? She was gonna go to the bathroom after this and puke. Soon all that was left of the.... what were their name? HD, that's it. Arely thought. Half-human. Everything was back to normal. ALmost. Emily's normally brown eyes were black, no nothing. She looked...hypnotized. Arely saw the dark chain around her neck with fear. She tried to yank it from her, but it was pointless. She was frustrated beyond words. Her friends, ghosts, secret hideouts, and now this. She wanted it all to stop "I can make that happen" Said a sweet voice as it cut through the silence like a knife. She looked up, scared, and found a girl with red hair and white cloth over her clothes. She had Red eyes. Blood eyes. Arely thought, they were as red as blood. She lifted her chin, and she whispered "I know you. I am you, Arely" The floor opened up, revealing nothingness. She fell in, with the red hair at her tail. She fell, hit the ground. Hard. She winced but said nothing. "Here we are." Said the Red hair. "My name's Ruby. Not Red hair" Ruby said and put on headphones. Nightmares came flooding as easily as if they were water. She braced herself and shut her eyes. Then she slapped herself. She was already in pain from the fall, but she had to so she could wake up. Or she thought. When she opened her eyes, she was bowled over by her brother. He started yelling. "Arely, you're an idiot. Whoever told you you were my sister? If you can do something this stupid, you CAN'T be MY sister." A quilt showed up, and he ripped it up and let the insides to the wind. She remembered she had read a book that said if that happened, you'd been... disowned.  Ruby showed up again. "You don't want this? Of course, you don't. Come with us. Become my soul mate. We can rule the darkness together. You once had a dark soul, and you can again. Let into your sadness, be negative, that will feed me, and we shall be the Queens of this Hell!" The world went black again.

"NO!" Arely screamed and realized she was in the secret hideout of her friends. "What happened?" Aksed Emily, who was free of the chain now. "Ruby took the chain off" Arely sighed, grateful to Ruby now. "Ruby?" Asked Sally, stepping forward. "Yeah. My dark side. She came to me in the nightmares and told me I once had a dark soul and I can again and we can rule Hell again and I was so lost. That about cover it?" Arely said, blinking. "AGAIN?" Tomas asked, now interested. "Yeah, I think it was the time when it had a "Dark soul" before.
