Arely sat there, busy explaining the fiasco to her friends. "I think, that honestly, you owe us an explanation," Arely said, standing up, looking at her friends. "For what? Haven't we explained everything? Eric said, shrugging. "All of you, you've been showing us things that ghosts were supposed to see, and yet I have the feeling all of you EXPECTED me to do what I did. You all expect explanations from us, about who we are, why we can see you, when we don't know, and there is something you just expect us to leave hanging. You have secrets, and you owe us an explanation" SHe said, her anger bubbling and sloshing around inside her. "Tomas was beginning to be agitated "WHy? We have no secrets, and if we do, why would we tell you?" he snapped. "Because we helped. We're in this too, and we deserve an explanation. Anything? Ae need something to get rid of these nasties, and if your keeping secrets and expect us to just help blindly, your VERY wrong!" Emily jumped in, knowing Arely would agree. Tomas looked shocked, and Sakura looked at Arely. Something was different. Something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Then she saw it. Her eyes were shining and sparking, and as soon as Arely caught Sakura's eye, she looked away. It was difficult to look at, but she couldn't help it. She looked back, and she saw Arely going back to Tomas in her fury. Eric was shocked as well, but Sakura saw it was from awe. She saw that he was in awe of Arely, fighting with someone older than her. Sally was calm, and she realized this was amusing for her. Back to Arely, she knew she had to put up a bite to back up the bark. "If you won't tell us, we won't help you," Arely said and began walking out. Tomas looked mad, but he looked afraid as well, and Arely saw his eyes glistening. Tears, she realized. She stopped, and turned around. tears were coming down hard, and She walked back to him. And hugged him To Tomas, this was like a six-year-old hugging him. Arely was smaller than her class, so it kinda was. Arely realized who Tomas was really on the inside. A kid who wanted to help his friends, and hated losing them. He had the bark, but not the bite. Arely said, and she moved back, "Tomas, I know it's hard, but...did you lose them, your family?" She thought, if she could get to the root, of this, she could ease the pain."Yes, they moved on to the spirit world, leaving me behind accidentally. They thought I had survived. I lost my parents and my sister." He said, smiling a little. How can he smile? Arely asked herself When his parents left him behind?  "We have been keeping the truth from you." Sakura blurted, and regretted it, scared that Tomas would get his edge back. He didn't. He nodded. "We have the powers of the elements. We don't know why or how, but we do." Eric said, stepping up. "Sally's water, I'm fire, sakura's wind, and Tomas is earth. The four elements." 4 out of 5, eh!" Arely said, grinning. "4/5?" They all asked her. Emily grumbled under her breath. "Arely thinks that love is an element." That made everyone laugh."It is!" She said, huffing. The glimmer was gone from her eye, but she was happy. Arely suddenly felt something tug at her, and she turned around, and she saw Ruby, And fear was created in her heart. She grinned! Wow! Arely thought. Everyone could see her this time. "That fear you created in your heart for me was delicious! But lemme get to the bad side now. Your making yourself happy with these goons, and now my power's weakening. THink worse thoughts please!" And she was gone. "That was her?" Sakura asked, taking Arely and padding her down.
