Dreary Mansion chapter #4

Ok, let's go!

She blinked. She could still see Ruby, but nobody else could. She was talking to her about the evil deeds they could do, and she heard someone in her head telling her the GOOD deeds she could do. It was like two parts of her fighting over complete control of her. At this point, she wasn't sure who was winning. She hadn't said anything for one simple fact. She didn't want to. She could feel the good side of her shouting at her to tell them, but she didn't want to. She didn't want to make them worried even after this. Eric was looking at her, and she had rubbed her face to make sure she didn't have anything. Eric was an old friend, but she felt scared and annoyed at the same time. She was annoyed that Eric didn't act like they were equals anymore. She was scared because this boy was the one with powers and he used to be her friend, but things weren't like old times. She was hoping they could patch things up soon so they could be friends, and they could be friends again. Something was off from the beginning, but this was new. Before they had always been teased for being friends and being boy and girl, Arely had always thought that was disappointing because they were just friends and GOT each other. Both had a deep understanding of things, and she liked it. But now that they were older, Arely wasn't too sure. Tomas was talking about different types of cultures they had frightened, and Emily looked surprised at how they had scared them away. Not scared scared, amused scared. She then heard someone call, "Arely? Emily?" A voice asked. "Alonzo" Arely said, sighing. They went back to their room tired, and both girls reflected on their time. Arely was fed up, she had to admit. Everyone expected she could balance this, but they were SO wrong. Emily could, she was older than Arely. Arely couldn't. Arely hurried her steps. She wanted to be alone so she could figure this out. She ran into her mother on the way to her room. "Lunch is ready, so go to the kitchen, kay?" She had said, before hurrying off. Arely decided on a trudge to the kitchen, and she did so. When she got there, her mood got turned into a happy dance. This was one of her very favorite meals, and she was gonna eat a LOT. She set the table and grabbed her plate. While she was waiting for everyone, she listened to music on her phone.

Like a small boat

On the ocean

Sending big waves

Into motion

Like how a single word

Can make a heart open

I might only have one chance

But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say

Wrecking balls inside my brain

I will scream them loud tonight

Can you hear my voice this time?

This is my fight song

Take back my life song

Prove I'm alright song

My power's turned on........

Fight Song. Her ringtone. Her voice when she was mute. Her life song.

"You're insecure, don't know what for
You're turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or
Don't need make-up to cover-up
Being the way that you are is enou-ou-ough
Everyone else in the room can see it
Everyone else, but you, ooh
Baby, you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground, it ain't hard to tell
You don't know, oh-oh
You don't know you're beautiful"

What makes You beautiful. One of my favorites. "Mine too," Somone said, and Arely whipped her head around to see Sakura. "Thinking, right? I have the feeling not a lot of people can surprise you." Sakura said, sitting down. "Yeah. All of you guys have given me a lot to think about." She said, her voice catching a little in her throat. Sakura realized what she meant. "I'm so sorry! I should've realized it earlier" She said, and hugged Arely, Her pretty eyes glistening with tears. "I honestly still think your rivals and friends, but he's sealed himself off because he missed his best friend. We were born here and lived the first 4 years here. Then we moved. He sealed his heart off to everyone, even us. We've been trying to help him, but he won't let us." Sakura said, sadly, in a voice that was solemn and sad. "Arely, we hope you'll change things, for everyone. SO we can be the ones we used to. There's one thing we ALL share. We were all murdered. Car crashes, and other things. We think....we could come back." Arely was shocked beyond words. "Your DEAD, Sakura. Has there been a story besides zombies and Jesus of people coming back to life?" She said, slightly aghast. "I know. But we have powers, and who have you ever heard of anyone having powers other than Jesus?" She asked, an eye rising. "Fine. You've got a point. How?" Arely asked, rolling her eyes. "How are we supposed to know?" Sakura said, shugging. "Ugh. Why did I say anything?"
