This high-quality retractable safety syringe has been specifically designed to be used exactly like a traditional syringe, with the added benefit of a locking mechanism that ‘clicks’ into the place when the needle is fully depressed. When the needle is retracted, it’s drawn back into the plunger barrel. Once fully retracted, the needle tilts to the side, and is captured in the barrel. This prevents needlestick injuries or reuse. The barrel plunger is then snapped off as a  further precaution.

HOW DOES ClickZip™ RETRACTABLE SYRINGE WORKS

ClickZip injection includes a unique retractable needle technology. The syringe contains a special needle attachment and piston system. Once the piston is fully pressed, the piston mechanism is locked with the needle unit. When the piston is pulled back, the needle is pulled into the syringe barrel, and automatically tilts to one side. The piston handle can then be cut, resulting in a stand-alone unit that encapsulates the needle used, thus protecting others from accidental needle sticks and preventing the syringe from reusing.
