Which one is better cats or dogs? Many people like different things some choose cats and some choose dogs but many NEVER make up their mind and ALWAYS chooses both. 

This can be some reasons to like cats better then dogs:

Cats don't always have to be given a bath because they can bathe themselves and cats sleep most of the time so you don't really have to walk them or anything energetic.

Bad things about cats:

Cats ALWAYS gets on the counters and they always spill things. If you have a cat you will feel the pain from ALL the scratches. If they are hyper and they are playing with you then will bite you and give NO mercy. They will bite you scratch you and if you want to scratch their stomach they will scratch you. If you play fight with your cat and hit them by accident they WILL bite you.

This can be some reasons to like dogs better then cats:

Dogs are really energetic and they will love to go for a walk which can help you. Dogs are also really playful so you won't feel lonely. They wouldn't mind if you touch their stomach instead they will want you to do it more. If you slap a dog on accident they will be like " Oh its ok it was an accident" and keep going on with their life. DOGS HAVE PUPPY EYES IT IS SO CUTE. Dogs can also learn a lot of tricks that cats can't do or can do but have trouble with it.

Bad things about dogs:

If you are too tired and you want to just rest your dog will ruin your sleep he will take the whole bed or he will want to go for a walk.
