The last time I went to Guatemala was back in 2020 right before the covid pandemic hit. I was about twelve or thirteen years old and I went mainly to see family but I really went for the food. You should take a visit to Guatemala to see the beautiful water landmarks and the tourist spots, I myself have mainly been to the tourist spots but a couple of the places I have been were little islands near by to Guatemala and I saw were my dad grew up. A spot I recommend to other people is this cave that you have to hike downwards and you have a flashlight and you turn it off and you hear a little river with a view of crystals hanging over your head but they are very safe and you should only worry if there is an earthquake because you do end up going underground to see this cave. In conclusion, you should go to Guatemala no questions asked. 

P.S. they have really nice beaches and they have a lot of caves.
