Recently my mom has been watching missing person documentaries, and I've noticed that most people leave the same things behind when they go missing; car keys, phone, bag, money (sometimes in large sums), and their wallets. It makes no sense that people would just leave these things. Most of the time the belongings are left untouched, I'm surprised that someone hasn't taken anything. Usually the missing person seemingly vanishes into thin air, theres no trace of anything, and usually people put the blame on anyone they deem "suspicious".
