THE VMAS 2023 

Im not sure if anyone reading this watches, watched, or knows about the VMAS, but if you do listen to me rant about what happened. ?

The VMAS is basically just like a music award show that gives out awards to artists within different categories. There is always the newest artists, songs, and categories . For anyone who did watch the VMAS, they were live last night, 9/2/2023.  There was many people present and that performed such as Taylor Swift, Peso Pluma ??, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Selina Gomez, and the list goes on. You know, I enjoyed watching the performances but some of the awards given out was something I could disagree on. For starters Taylor Swift won like 5 awards which isn’t too bad, she deserved them.  Shakira won a few as well which was nice to see, BUT something I truly disagree on was WHY DIDN‘T PESO PLUMA WIN ANY. He was nominated for 3 categories and out of the three he came out empty handed. For one of the categories he was clearly robbed. That category was for new artists of the year. He was robbed of that award by Ice Spice. I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT. If you know Peso Pluma, you would know that he has been the talk of the town, why didn’t he win? That is a question I continue to ask myself. Besides him getting robbed of his award ?, he did perform that night. I will say that his performance was absolutely AMAZING. He looked so cool and definitely rocked the night away.

The was the most upset thing that happened the whole show and to me the whole day. while he didn’t  win this time, he’s just beginning with his music and will definitely win next time. While this was supposed to be a rant about the VMAS, it turned into me defending PESO PLUMA.
