There is this show called the Summer I turned Pretty. It talks about the different phases of life and how you can start as a young child having your whole life in front of you and you can have all your best friends still be your best friends until something happens and there can be a drift in your friend group. And then it got left on a cliff hanger but the theme was that they had the perfect life until one of the main characters get diagnosed with cancer.
