Curly hair is something very difficult to manage, it gets really easily tangled and can be dry if you don't put hair product in it. For me, I first detangle my hair before I shower, then when I shower I use a special shampoo and special conditioner but only on the ends of my hair, after I shower I brush my hair and put curl cream in it. Then I section my hair and finger-curl it, after that I scrunch in some hair gel and fluff up the top of my head so it doesn't look flat. And that's my hair routine.
