Pearls are no stranger when talking about luxerous things but what exactly is a pearl? The cultivation of pearls firsts starts with an oyster as a small grain of sand or unknown item becomes stuck in its shell. Unable to remove said item the oyster will begin to cover it with a mix of aragonite and conchiolin where it will slowly build up over time, the result is a small shiny ecasing that we call a "pearl". Tho this process is very time consuming some harvesters will insert small plastic beads inside the oyster in order to produce a certain size. Most pearls take 6 months to finish while bigger ones can take over 4 years to create.
