My favorite Disney movie is Maleficent, it's such a great movie. There's a lot of great aspects to it. One of my favorites is the setting, it takes place in the Moors. The moors is a fantastical place of a Magic forest with fairies, gnomes, goblins, and tree giants. Not only the setting but the plot is extremely fascinating as well. Maleficent is a dark fairy but she is misconceived to be evil as the neighboring human kingdom is on the hunt to kill her. Especially because of the fact she got revenge on them by cursing Aurora with a sleeping death when she turns 16. It's actually contradicting because Aurora the daughter of the King, grows close to maleficent because of her strong attraction and interest to her. This becomes like a love-hate relationship but maleficent shows the soft side to her sometimes because underneath it all she is just traumatized and feels that she can’t trust anyone after what she went through. When she was younger the present king who was a prince in his younger years cut off her wings.  Maleficent ends up getting them back and after the violent war for peace, the Moors and Human Kingdom find harmony when the king dies and Aurora becomes the official princess of the Moors.
