I can kinda relate to this because I liked going to hospitals from what I can remember, but when I was two I did not like it because it hurt really bad and my arm would be sore and I would get the sniffles. I feel like the boy is scared because he doesn't know who these people are and what they are putting inside of him. Since he is only two and can’t understand that the scary man with a needle is just trying to make sure he doesn't catch any type of diseases. The father chooses to allow this to happen because even though it hurts it is helping him to not get very sick to the point where he may die. The son has a right to feel betrayed since it's his choice but once he is older he will understand the situation more clearly from a different perspective. In my opinion what's really going on the son is just being dramatic because he needs to get shots. The father had to hold him down since he wasn't behaving and listening to the doctor who just wanted to do his job.
