The lake was shrouded in a heavy mist, the only sound being the crickets singing their song. I shivered in the cold, looking at my sister as I held my arms bitterly. "Sabrina, are you sure about this? Its dark and cold, we could get sick, or kidnapped!" My sister rolled her eyes at me as she stripped to her swimwear, stretching her arms playfully. "Dont be a loser, Kali. Its just a little water." She cannonballed into the water, splashing me in the process. I yelped at the cold soaking my shirt as I groaned. I hesitantly stripped to my swimwear as well, slowly making my way into the water. I searched around for my sister, my heart dropping as I could not see him. "....Sabrina? Sabrina, this isnt funny you know?" My breath felt stuck in my throat as I began to panic, wondering if something had gone wrong. But suddenly, something came from behind me and grabbed me by the neck. I screamed and thrashed around only to feel boiling anger as my sister came into view, her annoying smile there. "Sabrina, what the hell is wrong with you?!" I slapped the back of her head harshly, enjoying the way she yelped in pain. "Jeez, calm down, I was only joking!" I huffed in annoyance as I began stomping out of the water, grabbing the towel and drying myself off. "Dont be a party pooper Kali! It was just a prank you know?" I promptly ignored my sister as I put my clothes back on, putting my shoes on as well. "Im going back up to the cabin." I began to walk back up, beofre hearing the sloshing water of coming out. "Dont follow me Sab-" I promptly stopped talking when I realized she wasnt there, and no one had come out either. I raised my brow, wondering if it was another prank. "Really Bee? this isnt going to work again." I crossed my arms, listening to see where he was coming from. Was she behind me? How did she get out of the water so fast? Sje was all the way in the middle if I remember correctly....My arms dropped to my side at the realization. Sabrina could swim, but not that fast. Something was wrong. So so so wrong. I looked around in a panic, every noise and thing throwing me off. I decided to play the safe route and head to our cabin for help. My feet raced against the dirt hill, before I felt something grab my ankles and pull me down. I screamed as I tried to turn around, but what I saw was vile, the sight making me want to vomit. My own sister, with a green substance covering the entirety of his scalp and his arms, blood pooling down his eyes and ears, with coral and kelp growing from his clothes. I stared in horror as I desperately tried to claw out of my own sisters murderous grasp. "Bee!? Stop, its me! Let me go!" I screamed in pain as I felt a scorching hot pain in my leg, realizing she had stabbed my leg with some sort of hook. I writhed and sobbed as I kicked at my sisters face, stumbling as I raced up the hill. That wasnt my sister. Not anymore. Whatever it was, it was fast as it tackled me to the floor, my back harshly meeting the hill. It slashed my neck with no hesitance, as i tried to scream out. Only blood pooled out my lips, the night darker than before. The pain was overwhelming, before it became unbearable. My stomach churned and burned, as I realized with sick horror something was grabbing at my organs, pulling them out painfully. I could feel my life slipping away, and the last thing I saw was my own sister, whos skin was blue and cold, with blood tainting her lips and human organs spilling from her teeth.
(Fun fact, Sabrina is a British princess that died in the River Severn, and Kali is a Hindu Goddess associated with death and doomsday.)
