Mariachi music


Mexico traditional Mariachi was first founded in the late 1700s and early 1800s. 

Mariachi orchestra emerged in West Central Mexico. The dance technique is zapateado which is a foot work pounding on the floor with your feet and moving to the music. Another dance is called the Music instruments and outfits that were used are charro outfits, trumpets, guitarron, violin, harp guitar, vihuela, and voice. It has been considered a uniquely mexican sound representing a homegrown tradition that embraces both indigenous and foreign elements. Folklorico ballet was founded in 1952 by a dancer and choreographer Amalia Hernandez that combined traditional dances with modern movement. Dances differ from region to region with basic zapateado percussive heel stomping. Women folklorico wear a ranchero design dress with indian influenced bright colors with there hair braided with ribbon ribbed in hair.
