Surfs up is a movie I grew up watching all throughout my childhood. It's about a penguin that sets out to accomplish his dream of becoming a professional surfer, like his idol Big Z. He is judged heavily back at home for his passion of surfing, often being called names and called lazy or bummy because of his different interests and how he goes about setting them. Cody, with the support and encouragement from his friends, sets out and accomplishes his dreams of becoming a pro-surfer. This movie has always been relatable to me because the way Cody was treated by his family for his interests has always been relatable to me.
