Over my winter break, I went to North Carolina to visit my moms side of the family. The plane ride was 4 hours to and 5 hours from. Over there is very different from over here, it is more rural and a lot less people of color, but people are also a lot friendlier. Over there, I spent time to get to know family, formed bonds, made memories and traveled a little. I tried numerous restaurants and spots with my brothers and my uncle with my cousins. At night.I would watch movies and sleep in until the next day.
