High School Softball

So where to begin? For softball to me it's like a different language. I get into my zone and usually block everyone. I also always get into my own head about the littlest things. I'm my harshest critic and greatest supporter. I always try my hardest to put everything I have into it and when we have practice for High School, it's a slower pace for me because I'm use to going faster. So I usually have to slow down and just try and do what I need to so I can get the work out I need. On my travel team I'm friends all the girls but only close friends with half of them, in other words we only really talk with each other. We all know what we need to do though. We all have the same goal and put in the work to get there. For High School it's very different. A lot of the girls are just there to do something or they really like playing and love the game but don't wanna go far with it. Which to me is fine I mean not everyone playing the sport has to be committed to it like head first dive you know? So I learned from a rough time that not everyone likes it when I try and help them in the nicest way possible when we're practicing but this is all High School. They Hate It! They think that my mindset is that I'm better then everyone and I know better so they should all listen to me because I'm always right. Which isn't the case at all and I hate that people think that which also is similar to what they think about me being the principals daughter. So i mostly just keep my mouth shut but during the games when we're playing I ain't keeping my mouth shut. I would yell if I have to and I don't care because Softball is that sports to me. So like always I have to push through and do what I know how to do and not worry about anyone else and their goals except for mine.
