In Girl Scouts there is something called Court of Awards. During the Court of Awards, new members of the Girl Scout Troop are officially introduced and badges and awards are given. Yesterday, the Mayor of Montebello was there and presented an award to one of the girls in my troop. After that we watched a video bringing awareness of a problem happening that i don't think I can say. When the video ended, awards and badges were given to everybody. When that was over we had dinner which was prepared as a potluck. The food was really good but there was way too much.
