An Eventful Weekend

This weekend was probably my most interesting one yet. On Friday I went to Praise Night and I had a good time. At one point I cried because the song playing made me think of my grandma, who recently underwent surgery because of breast cancer. I even put my hand over the logo on the shirt I was wearing (it was to my left), but little did I know the next day I'd find out that was where they operated on. On Saturday I had breakfast with my grandma and my tias at Denny's. We were talking about my quince, which I'm not all that concerned about because I begrudgingly agreed to having a party. After that, we got in the car and drove home. We heard a Green Day song on the radio and my mom remembered a post she saw on Instagram about their Saviors Tour. She suggested we could go and that the weather would be better than Blink 182's concert. My dad doesn't like concerts and she said I allegedly was moving around her womb when she was watching an old Iron Maiden concert on the TV. I was very conflicted about going. I want to see Green Day, very much actually! I loved hearing them on the way from school when I was 9. My "Dilemma" is that I also want to see Blink. If I can get them, I'll be seeing 3 concerts this year alone: Cody and Ben in May, Blink in July, and Green Day in- oh. The concert's on September 14th. I thought they usually sleep during September and they wake up "When September Ends"? Oh well. I guess they're excluding this year. Back to me, I helped my mom look at tickets. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but tickets were as low as $80 for the nosebleeds I think! We ended up getting 2 tickets in the VIP section for more than $200 each. We have a good view of the stage and supposedly better restrooms. Words can't describe my excitement right now. This is what my 9 year old self wanted so much. Unfortunately, we probably won't go to the Blink concert because of the weather. I even said I could go alone and keep myself intact, but I digress. I want to ask my friend if he could take me because he's also a big Blink fan, more of an Angels and Airwaves fan though. I don't think he's available on July 6th, so I'll have to see what I can do. We're not boyfriend-girlfriend; he already has one, but we're really good friends regardless. Sunday we went to a place in Monterey Park that we might hold my quince at. I worked on the invite thing, but I'm not jazzed about how it looks. I wanted it to look like the Blink-182 album BY BLINK-182. I might just do it more simpler, but in the end, IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER.

Edit 5-8-2024: I'M SEEING BLINK!!!!!!!!!!! Not with my friend though, but I'll be keeping him in mind.
