Rain is water droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then fall under gravity. Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the Earth. love the rain because it is very pretty. The rain usually indicates my favorite seasons which are fall and winter.  I love the cold weather the rainstorms typically bring. After it rains tis the start of all the good holidays like thanksgiving and Christmas.  The sound of the rain is very therapeutic for many people just like the seasons it brings. There's a spot on Earth that has never seen rain. Rain does not always reach the ground. The smell of rain is very distinct
