I think homework is somewhat unnecessary. It's only helpful with certain subjects where you need to practice. Like math, english, and Spanish. However, I also think it's fine to have/give homework when they don't their work. for example, my math teacher doesn't give us homework unless we haven't finished our classwork. Although, the classwork also helps us learn new equations and the definitions to help us. In math I am learning graphing and finding the how many times the points pass the x axis. In example, for the equation, "f(x)=4x-8" there is only one time where the line crosses the x-axis and it is at 2. So x=2.
