Last night at The 65th Annual Grammy's Taylor Swift announced her new album titled "The Tortured Poets Department" during her acceptance speech after she won "Best Pop Vocal Album". She shared that it has been in the works for over two years and will be released mid-april. My prediction for this album is that it will most definitely be throwing shade to her ex, Joe Alwyn. Joe Alwyn, whom Swift was in a serious relationship for around six years (2017 to early 2023) had a group chat with his friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott named "The tortured men's club". I feel like in this album she will finally share what was hidden about the relationship all those years, as we all know Joe wanted Taylor's love but only in private. In her post about the album she shared something that said "All's fair in love and in poetry" which I kind of understand of her saying that it's fair for her to write about how Joe treated her, given that he treated her that way. I have heard people saying that she might write about her current relationship with Travis Kelce, I do hope that there will be something in there about him but I highly doubt there will be more than maybe one or two songs.
