September 7 1995 two greasers ponyboy curtis fourteen yeqars old and jhonny cade sixteen years  old risked their own lives to save the lives of young children. A class was on a field trip at the church on top of jay mountain when the fire started. Ponyboy and Jhonny went into the window on the side church without having any thoughts behind there head ponyboy and jhonny came outside just before the roofs collaposed behind them dallasx winston also called "dally" one of their friends that were with them tried to put the fire out that had caught on ponyboy they saved  all the little childeren from the church but tey are now in the hospital suffereing from burns. Jhonny is in critical condition and could be at risk of dying.
