One day Lilly heard her parents arguing she knew the divorce was coming. She looked out the window onto the busy times square. She loved New York, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends in the park and taking the subway. Since her parents argued constantly she never really trusted relationships, she has always been single. Her mother came in; her name is Tara. She was a beautiful woman who always had confidence within herself. She used to live in the countryside growing up, so she has a southern accent. She made some friends in the city but she loves the south and misses it dearly. Her father texted Lilly asking her if she wanted pizza, his name was Jake. He was a calm man who never raised his voice, the only time Lily heard him yell was when he got laid off. That was the reason they had been arguing recently. Tara couldn't take how he was acting like he didn't care and how it didn't affect anyone.
