The Tiktok ban has been on headlines the past few days. Today the congress is voting on whether or not they want tiktok to be banned. President Biden said that if the bill passes he will sign it, which is just crazy to say since he is using the platform of Tiktok to campaign for votes for this years presidential election (honestly if he does sign it, I dont know if I want him back in office, not only has the economy dropped horribly during his presidency but now this????) The governments reason for banning it is because it is owned by a chinese company but they wanna be in control of everything so the ultimatum is sell Tiktok to an american company or lose all american tiktok users. It is so toxic for our government to be like this. Not only will we lose entertainment, but small business will lose their platforms as well.
