My future goals consist of attending a 4-year university to pursue a career in social work. I would love to become a child welfare social worker. To do this, I want to go to a school within the state but far from home to gain some independence and experience. During my time in school, I plan to do an internship to gain some experience. Once I graduate, I want to get a job within the county to receive financial support for pursuing my masters degree. As I finish school, I would like to build up seniority within the county to get good pay and benefits. I have not thought about other career paths because I am so passionate about giving back to my community. Hopefully, I can fully pursue this career and make a change.
