Orenthal James Simpson, better known as O.J. Simpson, has died after battling prostate cancer at the age of 76. O.J. Simpson was an American football player born in San Francisco He was also an actor and played 11 seasons in the National Football League, mostly with the Buffalo Bills. He passed on April 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was also famously acquitted to murdering his wife. O.J. Simpson went to prison for nine years because of an armed robbery. Two months ago, O.J. Simpson publicly announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He also announced that he was receiving and undergoing chemotherapy. He never mentioned it was prostate cancer and he passed soon after making his cancer public. His death will serve as a reminder that black men must take precautions against prostate cancer due to their higher likeliness to get it.
