It began the Monday before we came back from spring break and there was a weird thing going all over the news saying to not look up into the sun and always to close our eyes. I had gotten special glasses that let me see the sun, and I could be outside to watch the whole eclipse happen from my home. I enjoyed watching this at home because it was one of the hottest days that we have had so far. Although it was a pretty hot day I did end up having fun, especially with the day off. I think that we didn't have school was one of the best things that could happen because I know I was pretty tired walking into school on Tuesday. I know that this eclipse is not going to happen until another 40 years and I was grateful to see it while I could.
