It is rumored that in the last months of 2024 for the incoming year of 2025, Apple will release a new iMac, Mackbook Pro, and Mac Mini. The new iMac will be 24 inches with a M4 chip. This will improve the computers performance and support new AI features. In addition, the Mac Book Pro will have a M4 chip with 14 and 16-inch sizes. Lastly, the Mac Mini will be improved to also include the M4 chip. The overall trend within Apple computers is the addition of the M4 chip. The M4 chip is a powerful model and will help with AI processing capabilities. As a consumer, I believe that the new additions will drastically increase the prices of Apple products, making them less accessible to customers. I also think that students should wait to purchase a computer until the new releases come out to get the best product on the market.
