Studio Ghibli is a Japanese film making company created by four amazing people, Hayao Mizayaki, Toshio Suzuki, Isao Takahata, and Yasuyoshi Tokuma. What makes Studio Ghibli different is the fact that they hand paint their backgrounds despite having modern tech to make the background easier. They make breathtaking backgrounds with little details embedded everywhere, when they could’ve gone plain and simple. Ghibli films are very successful at capturing human emotions, especially love. While that love is not always romantic, its shown beautifully, and the facial expressions are perfectly done. Some things that stood out to me was the detail put into the food. The food was incredibly detailed, to the point where the viewers(me) wanted to reach out and eat it all for themselves. They also have unique storylines, and always have a whimsical tale prepared, like Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. They sometimes are a bit confusing to understand, but I think that makes it all the more beautiful. I also think they are creatively amazing, since they don't even plan a storyboard, they just draw a couple of backgrounds and go with it, which to me is the most inspiring thing Ive heard of. Studio Ghibli has been a favorite of mine ever since my sister introduced it to me during Covid times. I was enthralled by the beautiful colors and melodic songs, songs that were composed wonderfully. I love seeing people's theories on it  and their interpretations of certain scenes, and how everyone seems to relate on some level.
