A new technology that I would like to see developed is just something completely new.  We all know of the iPhone, the computer, the iPad, the Apple watch, so what else is there?  If I am being completely honest, I am tired of an iPhone coming out almost every year.  To me, they all look and act the same as the old one.  It is the same thing with the computers, again they all look the same.  I do like how recently Apple has dropped headphones instead of more developed Airpods.  Yet they are still the same thing but in a different font.  Yes they work different, but they deliver the same message.  Even if it isn't a new technology, I just want something new.  A new app where it isn't social media or a new video game.  I would just like to see something completely new in the technology world.
